The Schottenstein Real Estate Group has the Holiday Spirit!
We each tend to have our own ways of celebrating the holidays, and the traditions every year is what makes this season so special. No matter what your religion, what holiday you celebrate, or how you celebrate it, every family and every household has their own traditions that make this time of year special for them.
Each Schottenstein Real Estate Group community is filled with people celebrating and enjoying the holiday season. “We love knowing that family’s are happily celebrating and enjoying this special time of year in their SREG home,” exclaims Brian Schottenstein, Development and Marketing Director for the Schottenstein Real Estate Group. “Our slogan is “Live Your Dream” and that is exactly what we want residents to feel like they are doing when they are celebrating the holidays in a SRE Group community.”
In addition to the different traditions taking place within each Schottenstein Real Estate Group household, every community has its own unique ways of celebrating as well. Tremont Club hosts an annual holiday party for residents, provides holiday card making classes, and shows holiday movies in the Clubhouse. Hilliard Grand hosted its First Annual Holiday Party complete with pizza and holiday desserts. Pickerington Ridge held a holiday lights decorating contest where the winners received money toward their rent. They also collected canned goods for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank. Parkway Village held a Holiday Open House, and even got Santa to attend!
Some of these traditions have been going on for years, while others were just started for the first time, however, every community really showed their holiday sprit and made the most of the season. “Community members love attending these fun holiday activities, and the staff loves to host them,” Schottenstein adds. “Our communities are more than just a place to live for residents. It’s the amenities, the service, the locations, the staff that makes it so special not only during the holidays but every single day.”

SRE Community, Pickerington Ridge, Wins 2011 Best of Pickerington Award
The Schottenstein Real Estate Group is proud to announce that Pickerington Ridge has been selected for the 2011 Best of Pickerington Award in the Real Estate Rental & Leasing category by the US Commerce Association (USCA). The USCA “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.
The award came as somewhat of a surprise to the Pickerington Ridge community. “We had no idea that we had received the award. We received an email letting us know and it came as a surprise to us,” remarks Melanie Brownhill of Pickerington Ridge. “We were extremely pleased to receive the award and feel like it really reflects all of the hard work that we have put into this great community.”
According to the USCA, various sources of information are gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2011 USCA Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. The winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data provided by third parties.
